SL Board comes square edged in a laminate of phenolic foam, high performance insulation and a tough, weather resistant calcium silicate facing board. It is thermally efficient, lightweight and provides Class 1 surface spread of flame, yet provides a tough faced solution suitable for fully exposed or semi exposed use.

Thermal Performance:

In a typical concrete soffit construction, the standard thickness of SL Board will achieve a U-value of 0.25W/m2k.

Fire Performance:

Phenolic foam insulation contains a flame retardant which inhibits localised ignition. SL Board is faced with a 6mm calcium silicate which offers excellent fire performance as a facing material and is classified as Noncombustable in accordance with BS476: Pt4: 1970.
